LOL. My Barb is one of my best friends who, 2 years ago, got married at the age of 23 to an doctor and keeps telling me not to worry. Easy for her to say!

My Barbs? They all keep telling that “Everything’s gonna be fine” and “Sooner or later, you will find the right guy” or “Don’t cry, he doesn’t worth it” They are so hypocritical… Well, easy for them to say, they have never been there.

Kate, you’re the Best!! This video made me laugh so much these bad days. It felt soooo good that somebody finally made fun of these people too :-)
    Thanks for it!

Perfect impression of the happy “everything in this world is perfect” people. I know one that you can jut stab 20 times with a 5 ft sword and then ask how are you and he would still answer: supergreat!!

  • Luisa

You are my favorite actress and you are sooo hilarious! I spend 3 hours watching your videos because they are so funny! i was always like “ok only 1 more video”, and that like 100 times xD
you are my idol :) <3

I love this! So very true. I think every member of my family has been Barb at some point during this very difficult break up for me. They say just get over it & move on. Maybe, even though they are in a relationship, they really are not in love or have ever been, because they would know it’s now so easy. Thank you for this video….it helps during the ‘I’m feeling low days”

  • Sivanbenari

i’d probably kill myself if i had a friend like that.. oh well..

  • Kmac23

Pretty sure everyone has a Barb in their life… and I would say 9 times out of 10 … it’s usually your mother! Because after all — she is your biggest champion! It’s not you…. he’s out there….you’re perfect….blah blah blah!

Uh oh. I am Barb Kauffey. Oops.

  • Karen

This used to be my two aunts, but they are unhappy in their marriages and/or in debt, while I’m 100% debt-free, come and go as I please, and go to Europe every summer, so they don’t say anything to me any more!

  • Karen

Oh–and my 39-year-old sister, who would love to be married, tells people like Barb that she’s out of the “good woman” business! (I.e., when she’s told “all he needs is a good woman.”)

  • K.A.Guffey

I still can’t get past the name. Most of my e-mail accounts start with kaguffey. When I need a new one, I think I’m going to make it barbkauffey.

  • Leigh

Hahahah this is great! I work at Starbucks as a barista in an affluent area of Scottsdale, Arizona and I have so many customers who try to level with me about my 22 year old self and my accompanying love life (or lack thereof) and they are WAY too cheerful about my future someone. Just tell it to me straight…it’ll happen whenever it friggin’ happens. LOL!

  • Erin2ireland

Ok…. you’re officially both amazing and hilarious!
